data research

THIS ^ would've been perfect to see for my previous project. I just have a weird fascination for life things visualised as data, real things becoming numbers, becoming code, meaning nothing until read and interpreted by a computer.

Fascinated by this post, firstly I want a glitch jacket and pillow! But it strangely interest me seeing real life objects effected by something that wouldn't have effected them before.

Nick Gentry has produced some really interesting portraits created through film negatives and floppy discs, I don't know what his reason for them are but to me they become a history of the person.

The above painting as a digital file is almost the opposite to this analogue representation.
